hydrengeas!

This one is inpired by my mom's garden and the butterflies that congregate whenever we are stomping all over the prestine backyard! I fell in love with the paper for the background and wanted to do something super duper special with it.... this window is now my new favourite!

Reclaimed Windows

I love to see how old dirty windows can turn into really pretty stuff....
above is my interpretation of gerber daisies... hot pink!
Check out my new display for the ribbon flowers I painstakingly stitched
And this small little window turned out to be my almost favourite!
And this just makes me go awwwww. I made a similar one for a friend of mine that was a little more livelier... but I also fell in love with the grid paper I used and wanted to make something subtle with this window.

April Artwork

This is what I've been up to. The top one reminds me of summertime, really hot days that show all the colours of my mom's garden (not mine).
I found this little window about a month ago and from the start I knew I wanted to do something pink and red with it. My favourite colour combination!

Baby Clothesline with Keepsake Box #2

This one is for the girls! or for the parents waiting to be surprised! Again this box includes 30 cutouts, 10 feet of twine and approximately 50 mini clothespins. All of that included in a compact keepsake box.

Baby Boy Clotheslines with Keepsake Box

I'm done having babies but I still love to make things for them and their momma's. This one is the same idea as the Laundry Line that I have for wedding/couples, but instead of have one more thing in the house (once the baby comes it's all about baby when in comes to large items in the house - people love to give you ginormous things that take up all the floor space!) I have come up with a keepsake box. There are 30 cutout cards that can be used for all those baby shower games (that bring out chorus of either cheers or groans) or invite the guests to write down their best advice about babies. Box also includes 10feet of twine and approximately 50 mini clothespins.

This one is for the boys!

Ribbon Flowers

I've been trying to figure out something that I could offer at the "Mother of All Craft Shows and came up with these flowers that can be attached to headbands, hair clips, pins, purses and anything that just needs a little brightening up.

My little model is still in her pajamas, so that photo shoot will just have to wait until a bath and good old hair combing!

First Invitations for 2010!

Today I handed off my first official job for 2010! It's really exciting (and a little nerve tingling too) to do stuff for other people. I can't post a picture of it, it's a surprise! But as soon as the party is over, I'll update this post... but as a hint is a little pink and a little purple!

Easter Decorations

Celebration pennants decorated our little backyard egg hunt this weekend. I think I was more excited than the kids at how much these transformed the "not yet grown in garden" into a colourful backyard!
